Week 5.5

It is time!  Time for the 8th grade Math STAAR and Reading STAAR.  You will do wonderfully - focus and show all your strategies.  You have prepared all year long for this - go take that test confidently!

Thank you for every student that came to tutorials Saturday.  We had fun preparing and now we are passing the baton to Algebra 1 students.  I want to encourage all Algebra 1 students to take the District Benchmark seriously and do their best.  

Here is the schedule for the week:

Honors Math 8:

Monday: Review Pythagorean Theorem

Tuesday: STAAR Math

Wednesday: STAAR Reading

Thursday: Slope-intercept form

Friday: Practice Slope intercept form

Algebra 1:

Monday: Simplifying Radicals

Tuesday: STAAR Math

Wednesday: STAAR Reading

Thursday: Radical Operations

Friday:  Practice with Radicals
