Welcome back from the 3-day weekend!  We are gearing up for the STAAR soon, so expect District Benchmarks next week.  Tutorials resume this Saturday, February 11 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 noon.

Wow, what a great turn out at tutorials this past Saturday.  I am very proud of all the 8th graders that came and went over calculator strategies with me.  I know that we are going to get a lot of practice done before the STAAR and it will make a difference!

We are already at the third week of the six weeks, so you know what is coming up soon - progress reports!  Please make sure that you are completing assignments if you are absent so that your grade reflects what you truly know and is not reduced due to missing assignments.  Make sure that you also study and prepare for the 3rd week mini-assessments so that you can demonstrate mastery on the concepts you are learning in all your classes.
